1: What were things like before we started working together?
Telenor Pakistan is a customer centric organization and as we’re constantly looking to enhance the customer experience, we give them new ways of interacting with our products and services. Keeping that in mind, we identified two areas where could further improve; consolidation of digital assets by analyzing and our existing digital stack and evolution of competition first fully integrated e-commerce platform.
2: What made you look for a firm to help you with this problem?
As an organization that is at the forefront of spearheading the digital revolution in the country, we believe in ecosystem development through right partners, skill set and expertise. We are getting into a number of partnerships because we believe it is the most effective and efficient way of combining our knowledge and technology with our partners’ expertise to bring empowerment to the people of Pakistan and reduce inequalities. We have been fortunate to get into partnership with Evamp &Saanga who have the capability to assist with the challenges we have identified and are ready to be on this journey of digital evolution.
3: What made you think of Evamp & Saanga for this specific product?
Evamp & Saanga has the capability, resources and most importantly the drive to deliver on the challenging tasks and it was very encouraging to know that their ambitions are well aligned with our of vision of digitalization and empowerment.
4: What were the obstacles to making a decision?
There have been certain minor operational considerations towards making this decision. We wanted to ensure that the platform provided the required flexibility and more importantly at the right cost. Apart from that, like I already mentioned, the experience, skillset and teamwork have always been underlying considerations and we’re glad to have on boarded the right partner in E&S.
5: What made Telenor choose Evamp & Saanga in the end?
Telenor Pakistan follows a very rigorous and transparent process of running an RFQ. The final selection is always based on multiple evaluation criteria. In this case, E&S came out to be the top contender upon these criteria.
6: Now that we’ve worked together, and completed the project, how are things? Were your initial goals achieve? What is life like? What is business like?
Yes the business goals defined at the start of this project were achieved. More candidly, not only we went through some major change management, but also journeyed together through a learning curve in this area.

8: Would you recommend that others work with us, and if so, why?
I will recommend others to work with them, based on my project experience. Not to forget, that the digital arena is ever changing space, which needs constant relooking at our way of work and pivoting it.
