Job Purpose:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Magento Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and maintaining e-commerce websites using the Magento platform. This role requires a deep understanding of Magento’s architecture and features, Marketplace as well as the ability to lead and mentor junior developers. A commitment to collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design and quality products is important.

Key Responsibilities:

• Magento Development:
  • Design, develop, and maintain custom Magento modules and themes.
  • Customize and extend Magento functionality using best practices.
  • Integrate Magento with other systems and third-party APIs.
• Performance Optimization:
  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks.
  • Optimize the Magento application for maximum speed and scalability.
• Technical Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor a team of Magento developers.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality and maintainable code.
  • Provide technical guidance and best practices to the development team.
• Project Management:
  • Collaborate with project managers to define project scope and timelines.
  • Estimate development tasks and track progress against project plans.
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
• Quality Assurance:
  • Develop and execute unit tests and automated tests.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and security best practices.

Requirements:

• At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience with Magento 2.
• Have strong concept on checkout process and customizations.
• Strong experience in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs.

Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of Magento’s code structure and extension architecture.
• Proficiency in developing custom Magento themes and modules.
• Familiarity with Magento’s API and integration capabilities.
