Job Description:

• Demonstrated expertise in operating system fundamentals with a focus on Linux administration.
• Proficiency in configuring and managing web applications and database servers, including Apache, Tomcat,
  HAProxy, Nginx, and MySQL.
• Experience as an administrator for Apache, Tomcat, and Nginx, encompassing installation, configuration,
  application deployment, and maintenance.
• Skill in profiling server resource usage, optimizing, and fine-tuning as necessary.
• Ability to write queries and generate ad hoc reports according to requirements.
• Development of database backup scripts and monitoring their execution, along with monthly data archiving.
• Verification of monthly reports from backend databases.
• Proactive monitoring of web applications and prompt resolution of server issues.
• Collaborating with teams to identify and address application issues at the server level.
• Proficiency with monitoring tools such as Nagios for statistical analysis.
• Scripting proficiency in shell/bash/perl for task automation and customization.
• Effective coordination with clients to understand issues and facilitate resolution by internal teams.
• Competence in reading and monitoring Java application log files for troubleshooting.
• Identification of opportunities for enhanced performance in SQL operations and implementations.
• Oversight of production and staging environment database operations.
• Design, implementation, and monitoring of disaster recovery plans for the production database environment.
• Documenting processes and procedures clearly and concisely.
• Maintaining smooth communication with customers via web, email, and phone channels.
• Conducting online sessions with customers for issue resolution and providing Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Cultivating and sustaining positive working relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Addresses additional responsibilities as assigned, including troubleshooting and maintaining VAS platforms and
  services.
• Ensures 24/7 availability of VAS services and adherence to all Service Level Agreements by the technical
  services team.
• Guarantees the uptime, functionality, and backup of systems and servers at all times.
• Applies telecom integration expertise in SMSC, USSD, IVR, SDP, Apps, Portals, charging gateways, and Services
  delivery platforms.
• Utilizes knowledge of mobile internet and telecom VAS operations to establish operation methodologies and
  processes.

Skills Required:
